David Gibson Gives Public Lecture at Kent State and Conducts a Workshop // Sep 28, 05:34 PM

David Gibson, the principal and wayfinding mastermind from Two Twelve Associates gave a public lecture at Kent State yesterday. He introduced himself and his firm and talked about several wayfinding case studies including Harvard’s Hospital in Boston, Children’s Hospital in Boston, Uptown Charlotte, and Princeton University. The question session following the lecture tells me the audience was pretty captivated.

Today, David conducted a workshop with us in the “University Wayfinding” seminar. After a brief introduction to Kent’s campus, and getting familiar with where the groups are in the process, David offered concrete suggestions which may turn out very valuable down the line. To use a wayfinding analogy, his workshop served as a trailblazer for our seminar – it’s good to know you’re on the right path!
